There is a change in the air. As the daylight gives way to the fall season, let us take
charge of each day and make the most of the opportunities before us. The challenges
our world faces remind us to live fully and lead by example. Don’t wait for change, be
the change.

We look forward to Congress returning from the summer recess. Attention will be on
the House of Representatives as the NUCA-supported BUILD America 250 Act (H.R.
8850) is set to expire on September 30. A push for a short-term extension is currently
underway.

Looking ahead, we have some outstanding events planned over the next few months.
These include the Young Professionals Meeting, the Clay Shoot, and our October 8th
General Membership Meeting, where Congressman John Rutherford and
Representative Dean Black are scheduled to speak. If you’re interested in attending any
of these events, please reach out to Jennifer for more information.
Let us not negotiate with ourselves, rather, surrender it and act in obedience.

Thank you for your continued support of NUCA, and I look forward to seeing you at our
upcoming events.
